From struggle to growth with ease and happiness

Marie, CEO Advanced Dental. When I first started coaching this business, her husband Miguel was the only dentist in the practice - and the CEO. Marie was running the office. After a few months it became apparent that Miguel really didn’t like being CEO, with all that involved, and was happiest as a full-time dentist, which was his passion. But he thought he had to fill both roles for various reasons. It also became more and more apparent in our conversations, and in her work, that Marie had the temperament and desire to be the CEO and office manager. So they agreed to try Marie out in the CEO role and Miguel got to just be a dentist. It was a bit of a struggle at first, but once they both fully accepted Marie’s new role both were much happier in the position they were each best suited for. Being quite self-aware, Marie was an eager student of personal growth and business coaching and made many powerful changes both internally in herself and inspiring her team to create needed systems and help grow the business. We worked together for 3 years and she tells me she still asks herself when in question, “What would Mary say?” Marie is still referring business owners to me that need accountability and help.
